After School Blast!
During the school year, CPY offers our "After School Blast", a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn some new skills and make some new friends in our safe, secure setting.  This programming is:

• offered to students in grades K-5 from Sunnyside and Bel Air Elementary schools.
• runs Monday through Friday from 3:15pm until 6:00pm.
  
• Offers free transportation from your child's school to Christ the King Lutheran Church, where this exciting program takes place. 
  

Polynesian Village
In addition to assisting at local schools, CPY also provides elementary programming at Polynesian Village for residents on Monday through Friday from 3:30-5:00pm, including longer programming on most school holidays.  Mondays and Wednesdays are "Tiger Paws" days, where our licensed teacher offers your child rigorous learning opportunities focused on building their reading and math skills.  The other three days, our program offers more social activities, such as team building games, field trips to places like the Eagles' Nest and Hansen Park, and lots of recreational time.  The cost is free, so if you are a resident of Polynesian Village, come see what we have to offer!

Summer Fun 2009 starts here!
Sure, it's cold outside.  But that doesn't mean that you can't be dreaming and planning your summer...trust us, it will be here before you know it!  And now...we have MORNINGS, too!  That's right, everyone - we heard you when you said you needed us in the morning, too, and we've added a 7:30am - 12:00pm time slot to our line-up.  Your kids are sure to have a great time with us as we have all kinds of new adventures...because at CPY, we think summers were meant for fun - so fun is what we provide!  We’d love to have you join us!

Offered: June 15 - July 31 (Session I)
               August 3 - August 23 (Session II)

We have programs available 5 days a week, Monday - Friday. Morning programs run from 7:30am to 12:00pm; afternoon programs run from 12:00pm until 5:30pm (a great match with summer school), with later pick-up times available for an additional fee.

Our program features:

• Daily lunch and snack
  
• Twice-weekly field trips
• Theme-based, age-appropriate enrichment activities
  
• Daily outdoor activities (as weather permits)
• Transportation to and from home or summer school for those who require it*
  
• Lots of flexibility!

Each week features one day spent at Long Lake or Snail Lake Regional Park and at least one day on a fieldtrip to places like local fish & wildlife preserves, the MN Science Museum, Hugo Animal Farm and so much more! Our "on-site" (non-field trip) days are spent doing a variety of activities such as recreational games, arts and crafts, cooking and music lessons.  Your kids will have a blast!

Cost of Programs:  Please note that the registration fee and first week's fee must accompany your registration form!

Early Registration (before April 30)
$15 registration fee (per family), plus...
$45 / week - mornings
$50 / week - afternoons (includes Fridays)

• Can take advantage of our sibling discounts (20% off the regular weekly fee) - great for larger families.
  
• Have access to limited, partial scholarships and our sliding scale.  Proof of income is required.  Please call to inquire about our sliding scale rates.
