Campbell’s
Labels & Boxtops
Calling All Label Clippers!
As you probably already realize, CPY is a community-driven
organization that needs the help of people like you! One great
way to get involved is by helping us collect both Campbell’s Labels for
Education and General Mills Box Tops for Education. Each of these
programs bring valuable (and tangible!) rewards to our program.
Read on for more information about these fun opportunities to get
involved with CPY…
Campbell’s Labels for Education (LFE) Program
When we became a member of the Campbell’s LFE program in early 2002,
we couldn’t have anticipated the incredible response we’d get from
families. In three years, we’ve collected well over 20,000 labels
through this program - more than enough to purchase a great deal of
recreational equipment and even some awesome science projects!
You can help by saving the labels, lids and UPCs from hundreds of
Campbell’s items. Just some of the products which help us achieve
our goals
include: Campbell’s soups, Supper Bakes meal kits, Spaghetti-Os pastas,
Prego pasta sauces, V8 & V8 Splash juices, Pepperidge Farm breads,
cookies, crackers and frozen products and Goldfish crackers.
Would you like a more complete listing of participating products, or
need to know more about what to save? You can visit Campbell’s
website
at www.labelsforeducation.com,
where you will find the most up-to-date information about which
products are eligible for redemption.
General Mills Box Tops for Education Program
The almost-effortless Box Tops program has been so much fun to work
with, and also is clearly a hit with families. This program
actually pays us cash (10 cents a Box Top!) for each label you provide
us with, and we’ve discovered those cents add up very quickly. We
joined this program in late 2002, but in hardly any time at all, we
managed to raise enough for a field trip. Now, we raise over $350
each year! Many families that sent us Box Tops said they had been
saving them for
months or even years and simply didn’t know what to do with them.
Well, we are glad to have them! We use the money we collect
through
this program to purchase supplies and sports equipment for our many
activities, as well as for field trips and other "extras".
There are more than 800 participating General Mills’ brands in your
local grocery store, including all General Mills cereals, Pillsbury
biscuits,
rolls, pizza doughs and pie crusts, Betty Crocker and Old El Paso
products,
Hamburger Helper meal kits, Fruit Roll-Up snacks, and so many
more!
For a complete list of participating products or more information about
the Box Tops program, visit www.boxtops4education.com.
Be sure to check out our latest set of goals on the website, too!
If you’d like to donate to either of these two programs, simply drop
off your contribution at our office, in Christ the King's main office
(there's a box just for us) or mail it to us at 1900 – 7th St.
NW, New Brighton, MN 55112. Labels may be sent to program with
your
youth, as well.
Many thanks to all of you who already support these programs. We
couldn’t have achieved the incredible things we have this year without
your help. Know that your support is truly appreciated!
Thank you!
